ART EDITOR WANTED
Exciting opportunity for a creative Art Editor to join Anthem Publishing
Working as part of a dynamic, award-winning editorial team, you will be responsible for creating exciting and imaginative magazine layouts across a range of titles at PPA’s Independent Publisher of the Year 2014, Anthem Publishing. The ability to design attractive and engaging magazine pages is essential, and will be supported by your existing experience of working in consumer publishing. As well as operating as a flexible and adaptable team player, you will have the confidence and skills to single-handedly manage a project, while working alongside the Creative Director to develop titles and be involved in the launch of new magazines. You will also liaise with the marketing team to design and develop effective magazine marketing materials to assist in the promotion of our brands. You should have excellent communication and organisational skills, and the ability to adapt to new challenges and prioritise work around tight deadlines is essential. You’ll be highly competent, experienced user of Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, be able to demonstrate strong typographic skills. An interest in music would be beneficial.
