Our team

Jon is one of the founders and owners of Anthem. With over 25 years working in magazine distribution and publishing, he’s responsible for the overall direction of the company, managing copy sales and publishing the Colouring and pop music portfolios.

Simon is one of the founders and owners of Anthem. He has over forty years in media sales and publishing with experience in regional press, commercial radio and the magazine business. He has a passionate interest in vegan food, is a keen cyclist and is both publisher of Classic Pop and Vintage Rock, and heads up the advertising team.

Jenny has been with Anthem since day one and has launched or worked on pretty much every title at the company. Her creative talents are wide ranging, allowing her to easily switch from music to Women’s Running to food, but perhaps Jenny’s greatest achievement to date is her work creating and championing one of Anthem’s most profitable titles, Colouring Heaven.

Sally has worked at Anthem Publishing since 2008 and during that time has launched and developed all of the titles in Anthem’s food portfolio. Sally is publisher of Vegan Food & Living, Women's Running, Italia! and Healthy Eating.

Louise is an experienced people manager with over 20 years of experience. Her focus is on the individual and their role within the business, enabling them to have the greatest impact personally and drive business success. As a senior manager, she balances the strategic demands of the business by putting individuals at the heart, using practical tools to nurture and develop, as well as manage the many facets of the employee lifecycle. Her core aim is to ensure people working at Anthem are happy, empowered and share common goals and values.

Cara has worked at Anthem Publishing since 2017 and has worked across nearly all of the Anthem brands in her time. She leads the marketing team and works directly on Vegan Food & Living and Women’s Running.

Colin Morrison is a former journalist who has been CEO of magazine, newspaper and B2B companies in the UK, Australia and Continental Europe. He is now variously a non-executive director, consultant and adviser to media companies in the UK, US and AsiaPacific. He also writes the award winning blog Flashes & Flames. He was awarded an OBE in 2018.
